Alpha Omicron Pi – Theta Omega Chapter | Senior 2017

These ladies of the Theta Omega chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi are totally crushing their senior photoshoots – and we just can’t get enough of them! Today we are featuring Marissa! Marissa pledged during her Sophomore year at Northern Arizona University, initiating in the fall of 2014. And this girl is brilliant and committed to her studies. She graduated this spring with a Bachelors of Science with a focus in Physics & Astronomy. Astronomy y’all! How cool of a major is that?! Is it too horrible of a pun to say we’re starry eyed at this accomplishment? Yeah, we thought so. Looking back at her time at NAU she has the most fond memories of her time with the friends she met in her classes and the moments with her sorority sisters, those are the memories she knows will last a lifetime.

During her four years at the university she actively participated in the Society of Physics Students. Between that & her academic courses she kept incredibly busy which didn’t allow her much time to commit to any offices in the chapter house, but she did take time to help plan, set up & organize the chapters philanthropic event Strike Out Arthritis during her junior year. This was her favorite event during her time on campus because she was able to see it all come together from the planning phases through the actual event. Plus, it had been several years since her house had the opportunity to host a Strike Out Arthritis event.
